Where can geography take you?

Hosted by Kit Marie Rackley

Wednesday 19 October – 16.00 - 17.00

Move over Sir David! Take a seat Greta! This is not your usual ‘careers talk’.

The call for more sustainable living and working has only become louder and geography-related subjects have never been more relevant. While jobs that work on the environment and sustainability are obvious pathways, you may be surprised how many doors geography-related subjects can open. In this live webinar, join neaco Take Your Place and the Geographical Association to explore an overview of the different university and non-university pathways you can take after school.

  • Hear from undergraduate students, apprentices and employers.
  • Is this geography related? A snapshot of the kind of jobs and courses that geography can prepare you for.
  • Geography is everywhere at university - how a range of undergraduate courses have links to it.
  • What are apprenticeships? Are there any in the ‘green sector’?

Kit Marie Rackley is a neaco Higher Education Champion, a geographer, educator, writer, podcaster and consultant to NASBTT and the Geographical Association.
