Where can geography take you?

Hosted by Kit Rackley

The call for more sustainable living and working has only gotten louder over the past few months, and with the climate negotiations at COP26 around the corner, Geography-related subjects have never been more relevant. While jobs that work on the environment and sustainability are obvious pathways, you may be surprised how many doors Geography-related subject can open. Kicking off the GA’s series on careers, we’ve teamed up with neaco Take Your Place to give an overview of the different university and non-university pathways you can take after school. Hear from undergraduate students, apprentices and employers.

  • Is this Geography related? A snapshot of the kind of jobs and courses that Geography can prepare you for.
  • Geography is everywhere at University – how a range of undergraduate courses have links to it
  • What are ‘apprenticeships’? Are there any in the ‘green sector’?
  • Q&A
